Another busy week for our Liebherr LTM1300-6.3, this time handling a substantial 42-tonne fuel storage tank in Herefordshire.
The 300-tonne mobile crane was deployed to carefully lift the large storage tank from its position and load it onto specialist transport, ready for the next stage of its journey to Hinckley, Leicestershire.
With its considerable size and weight, the tank required careful planning, appropriate rigging and controlled handling throughout the loading operation. The LTM1300-6.3 provided the lifting capacity and reach required to safely transfer the tank onto the waiting transport.
Sparrow's involvement doesn't end in Herefordshire. Following transportation to Hinckley, our team will also be responsible for unloading the 42-tonne tank at its destination the following day, providing lifting support at both ends of the journey.
