As the boating season draws to a close, now is the time many boat and yacht owners begin planning their winter lift-out and dry storage.
Sparrow Crane Hire can provide specialist crane hire for lifting boats and yachts from the water, whether they are being moved ashore for winter storage, maintenance, repairs or refurbishment.
Lifting a boat requires careful planning and the correct lifting equipment. The weight and dimensions of the vessel, lifting points, crane position, working radius and access all need to be considered before the operation takes place. Suitable lifting slings and spreader beams can then be used to support the vessel during the lift and minimise pressure on the hull.
With an extensive fleet of mobile cranes and experienced lifting teams, Sparrow can provide the appropriate crane and lifting solution for vessels of different sizes at marinas, boatyards and waterside locations across the UK.
So, if your boat needs to come out of the water before winter sets in, now is a good time to get your lift booked.
Contact Sparrow Crane Hire to discuss your boat or yacht lifting requirements and arrange a quotation.
