Sparrow Crane Hire was lucky enough to lift a USV (Uncrewed Surface Vehicle) into the water for trials at the Turnchapel Wharf in Plymouth. This Hydrogen powered craft was built by Acua Ocean, who are revolutionising full ocean monitoring and data collection.
The 300tn contract lift was fully planned by Jon Giddings and Logistics via our Plymouth Depot and Heavy Cranes Department but the star of the show was our Liebherr LTM1300-6.3 with 42te ballast.
