One of our recent tasks saw us utilizing the powerful Liebherr LTM1200-5.1 for an exciting project at the Watercress Line—a heritage railway located in Hampshire, UK, stretching between Alton and Alresford.
Earlier this month, we assisted in lifting the main diesel engine, along with the refurbished main generator and train heat generator, back into the iconic Class 50 locomotive, 50027 'Lion.'
This impressive feat was made possible thanks to the incredible efforts of the Class 50 Alliance team, who not only managed but also delivered the lift completely free of charge!
