Our team recently completed the installation of a Liebherr 81K.1 self-erecting tower crane at Brassington Moor Quarry, Matlock, Derbyshire, supporting ongoing site operations.
Configured with six tower sections (maximum height), the crane provides an impressive 40.4 metres height under hook and a 42-metre jib, offering excellent coverage across the working area. This setup ensures efficient material handling and flexibility within the quarry environment.
The installation was carried out by our experienced team, with Luke Hale, Sparrow’s Tower Crane Manager, on site overseeing and supporting the process to ensure everything was completed safely and efficiently.
