Another recent operation saw our Liebherr LTM 1200-5.1 deployed just outside Bristol to carry out a combination of lifts in a particularly restricted working area.
The project involved repositioning a 9-tonne silo alongside the installation of an 18-tonne heat exchanger, requiring careful coordination and precise control throughout. With limited space available for crane set-up, the lift presented additional challenges that demanded detailed planning and accurate execution.
Utilising VarioBase duties, the LTM 1200-5.1 was ideally suited to the conditions, allowing the team to maximise lifting performance safely within the confined footprint.
With tight conditions and heavy loads, accuracy was critical — and through careful planning and experienced operation, the lifts were completed safely and efficiently.
