The wheels on our Liebherr LTM 1300-6.3 haven’t stopped turning recently, and this latest project saw the crane deployed to Warminster for the installation of a large silo unit.
The operation was carried out as a “top & tail” lift, utilising the LTM 1300-6.3 as the primary crane, supported by one of our 40-tonne cranes to control and stabilise the lower section of the load during positioning. This dual-crane configuration allows for greater control and safety when lifting and upending tall or cylindrical structures such as silos.
Careful planning and coordination between both operators ensured the silo was manoeuvred smoothly into its final position. The LTM 1300-6.3 once again demonstrated its versatility and strength on a demanding lift, supported by our experienced team and specialist equipment.
Another successful installation completed safely and efficiently.
