hiab Crane Hire

HIAB HIRE

A Hiab in the industry is recognised as a crane mounted on the back of a truck but the name Hiab is actually a brand name.

There are different kinds of truck-mounted cranes some have the crane situated just behind the cab and others are at the very back of the truck.

The advantage of a Hiab is it is two vehicles in one. It can be used for transporting goods as well as the convenience of having a crane lift goods directly onto its truck. In other words they can deliver goods to the site as well as lift them on and off the truck.  Plus it can fit in tight areas because of it being two vehicles in one there is no need to situate two vehicles into the space.
