Sparrow crane hire was proud to be involved in the Big Lift of the 50027 Lion last autumn based on the Mid Hants Railway- The Watercress Line, Alresford. The whole process at Ropley Station, Alresford went as smoothly as could be and despite a struggle removing the generator from the flywheel which we lifted onto the back of a lorry was headed north for inspection.
It was said to be the biggest project 50027 Lion group had undertaken and possibly the biggest lift the railway had as well.
