The Tadano AC 2.040-1 crane is ideal for roofing work, solar panel installations, and lifting work material at work sites. It features a hydraulic boom that can telescope under load as well as exceptional taxi crane capabilities made possible by a design that minimizes weight. It offers the best of both worlds, as evidenced by the IC1 Plus control system, which ensures that the machine can always take advantage of its maximal lifting capacity, regardless of the outrigger configuration in use. Other examples include the E-Pack for zero-emission crane operation, the one-of-a-kind Surround View camera system that assists with positioning on the job site and makes travel to and from it safer, and the Flex Base, an outrigger system with extendable outriggers that can be positioned at any point within their available range. In addition to its exceptional gradeability and acceleration, its outstanding carrier also affords it a very silent travel operation. And to make matters even more convenient, the crane's axle load limits remain under 12 tonnes even with 1.1 tonnes of counterweight.
